"Dear Saint-Germain, I want to do spiritually-based, holistic healing. The problem is this: A part of me knows that I have a lot of gifts and can help people, but there's another part of me that stops me from taking any action. My ideal would be to have the courage to act upon my dreams, and then to trust that financial abundance and deep satisfaction will come. Is this possible? Can you see me making any progress on this during the next year?"

My friend, I AM Saint-Germain. I'll say right now that you are going to face significant challenges during the next year, but you will have some very important help, too. Things are coming to a head quickly. Astrological alignments are showing this, as well. You'll likely encounter situations in which you must act upon your initiatives with greater self-confidence. You must have faith in yourself, trust your knowledge, and establish boundaries and limits around the people and things that distract you.

I AM Saint-Germain. On August 8th (2008) and for sometime thereafter, humanity will have an opportunity to open toward prosperity consciousness. You will learn that prosperity, security, and a sense of well-being are gifts that you give to each other. Not things that you take from one another or enjoy at someone's expense. The Earth will no longer support you in this, and neither will you.

A major transformation is taking place now, and it has nothing to do with an apparent scarcity of resources. This is pure fiction. There has always been enough. All of your key resources are renewable.

If you are truly lacking anything now, it is the collective realization that all of your lives are interconnected. That you, your neighbors, and your world beat to the pulse of a Common Heart.

My friends, soon you will experience what the rest of the Universe already knows: That prosperity begins with charity, and charity begins with the heart.

You will learn that what you give to yourself, you can easily give to another. But what you deny to others, will be denied to you - not because you are being punished, but because your hearts are closed. A closed heart, like a tightened fist, can neither give nor receive.

"Dear Saint-Germain, I'm an elderly man of independent means. I've lived much of my life without the need to work for a living. I've chosen, instead, to withdraw from people; preferring to live alone. Now that I've had a heart attack, I feel that I am facing the end of my life. I'm saddened and depressed about this, and feel that I have wasted the gifts that God has given me. Can you help me, please?"

Beloved, there is nothing more to ponder. There is no "why me?" to it. The facts are that it happened, and you are here. This is all that matters. You are here because your experiences on Earth have not yet been completed. There is still more to come. Spirit has something in mind for you.

Dear Saint Germain, my moods and thoughts are fluctuating all the time. I can be soaring with excitement in one moment, and "down in the dumps" the next. I'm also having difficulty keeping practical routines around the home for very long. Can you help me?

My friend, I AM Saint-Germain. You are a sensitive human being, and because of this, you are very permeable to the thoughts, moods, and emotions of others. This is a strong signature in your energetic field. Now, what does this mean to you? In general, it means that the moodiness that is affecting you, sometimes has its origin within you. But more often than not, it is induced by others around you.

Here's an example of how this can work: Because you are perceptive to the energies of others, being around too many people, for too long, will probably feel tiring to you. Your emotions will be affected, too. You might suddenly feel angry or depressed, not because these are your legitimate feelings, but because someone around you is feeling this way.

My dear, I AM Saint-Germain. Instead of making predictions about what will happen in your life, or with your job in the future, I would like to encourage you to take an active role in creating your future.

I know that sometimes there are moments in everyone's life on Earth, when you feel tired, or passive, or maybe just plain bored. These moments are common to life on Earth, and no one is excepted from feeling this way at some time or other.

Acknowledge that you feel the way you do now, and then move on from there. I mean, why not take the next step? Move closer toward the things that you would like to experience, by taking some concrete steps. Become more active, when you feel the inspiration. Get more involved in bringing something new into your life, especially when you feel that restless and insistent urge beginning to build within you.

"Dear Saint-Germain, I am a professional instructor and athletic coach. I love teaching, and I enjoy helping others discover their creative energies. Over my lifetime, I have changed in many ways, including discovering that I am gay. As a young man, I kept this hidden from myself because I needed to conform to the expectations of others. Now I am divorced from my wife and I am happily partnered with the man I love.

"However, my former wife does not agree with my lifestyle choice, or with my partner, and she does not wish me to have a life with him and my children at the same time. I have a strong desire to continue with this new relationship and my career, too. I also want to be a caring father. But their mother demands that this take place without the influence of my partner around the children, or the reality of my choice to share my life with this man. What can I do? I feel pressured by everyone, so please help. I look forward to your words. Thank you."

The following response was written to a young woman who was contemplating suicide. She had requested help in deciding what to do. Reprinted with permission.

Thank you for your courage in writing to us about your recent experiences, and about wanting to release your trials and your body through death.

I feel it's important to honor our choices, even those we make to exit this world. I also think it's important not to romanticize, mythologize, or otherwise misrepresent death or suicide to ourselves.

Death is a transition from one state of consciousness to another. This passage can be accomplished by releasing the physical body. But it can also be accomplished while we are still living in the body. It's all a matter of choice.

Death happens all the time. Think about it.

I Am Saint-Germain. As you invite your Soul into greater relationship with the human you, it will speak to you of sovereignty.

Sovereignty can be experienced in many different ways. For some people, being sovereign means being free from the influence of institutions and outside authorities in their lives. For other individuals, it's about having the money, power, or status to satisfy their needs and desires. For others still, sovereignty supports their freedom of choice. What matters most to people like this, is their right to decide what they will (and won't) do with their lives.

Spiritual Sovereignty

When you choose a life of Soul purpose, you will be choosing a life of sovereignty, too. But the sovereignty that you will experience has nothing to do with your political or economic situation. This kind of sovereignty is spiritual in nature.

What does it mean to be spiritually sovereign?

Does it mean that you feel superior to others? That you are more evolved in consciousness than they are? That you have more power, creativity, or authority? Does God enlighten your choices, but not those of another, or make your prayers and petitions the only ones of consequence?

No, it doesn't mean any of these things.

Being spiritually sovereign means only one thing - that you are free of the illusion of being something that you are not.

Dear Friends, I AM Saint-Germain. You may imagine yourself to be many things, but a Child of God is what you are.

As you become aware of this unique relationship that you have with God, you may feel that relationships are challenging you to stay loving toward others.

If you are feeling challenged by this, just remember that as you love and embrace people in a way that is appropriate for you - without demanding that they change - then you free yourself from the difficulties they face while offering them the best possibility to find their own resolution, instead.

Remember that this resolution will always be found in self-love and acceptance, rather than in your approval or disapproval of them.

Learn to accept people as they are, rather than trying to change them to suit you better. Release them to the loving guidance of their Souls, instead. When you do this, you allow them to discover the healing power of their self-love, rather than entangling yourself in unnecessary criticism and conflict.

"Dear Saint-Germain, I was once married, but we were unable to continue together as husband and wife. Since our divorce, we've remained close friends, and we still share many things together. We both wish to marry again, but fear that we'll have to give up our friendship. What should we do? Thank you."

I AM Saint-Germain. Today we're going to address the fear that you have about partnering again. But before we start, Alexandra and Dan wanted me share this quote from a well-known author, Mark Twain:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

This is very good advice for you, too, because it reminds you to stop worrying so much about your relationship "location" - and to start enjoying the journey, instead. You see, your anxiety about being in an intimate relationship again is really just your fear talking to you. Your fear is telling you that you'll never reach the relationship destination that you desire - a fictitious place, called "happiness" - because you aren't doing what needs to be done to guarantee this type of outcome.

I AM Saint-Germain. You have inhabited a world of false beliefs for too long. For too long you have imagined yourself to be unloved and rejected by God. You may believe that these thoughts have no consequence in your life, but you are mistaken.

In a world such as this - a state that exists solely in your mind - the best that you can expect from yourself is failure; the attacks of others are unavoidable; and God prefers your obedience to your love. You have allowed these lies into the holiness of your mind and given them a shelter that does not correspond to them. In this unhappy home, the images you hold of yourself keep you feeling weak and vulnerable, and believing that sooner or later even the people closest to you will harm you.

In this confused state, you are unable to employ even the simplest tools for right living. General principles that would improve your life, if you would only apply them - such as "Love your neighbor as yourself" and "Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you" - are meaningless to you. In this nightmarish world, the thought of trusting your neighbor, or communicating with God, is as frightening as the prospect of knowing yourself. This frightens you because you have forgotten Who You Are. This world is changing now, and so are you along with it.

"Dear Saint-Germain, I feel that freedom comes when I can choose what I want to create or do with my life. But doesn't too much freedom lead to difficulties, too?"

This is an interesting question, my friend. You are asking about freedom of choice here, and here is my short reply, "With freedom comes choice, and in choice you will find your freedom." Yes, there is something very wonderful about freedom of choice. But there is also something very seductive about it, especially if you are unprepared for the experience of being able to do whatever you want. This seductive element is called, vanity.

Let's talk about a particular kind of vanity now. Let's talk about spiritual vanity. Have you ever met anyone who is spiritually vain? I'm willing to bet that you know one or two of them. A person is spiritually vain when they take excessive pride in their spiritual accomplishments, and then use this to impress or manipulate others around them. It has "tarnished the halo" of many human angels who would lead others on the Earth today.

Spiritual vanity has consequences, too. Let's consider this for a moment...

Neither a statement of false pride, nor spiritual superiority - it is the simple, earnest recognition that you are the Source and author of your own life. It is a declaration of your mastery, and a marvelous leap forward in your awareness. When you take this step, you recognize that you are an individualized focus of Self consciousness within the greater life of the God Source - uniquely you, but God, also.

Resolving this paradox in your mind is a sign of mastery. You now understand that all of God's power is vested within you. And because of this, you know that you can create realities, love them, and experience them fully - just as God does. This IS mastery.

"Dear Saint-Germain, I am confused about my spiritual growth. I'm told that we're supposed to overcome our egos and live as our Souls do. But why? This isn't clear to me. What is the ego, and how does it affect my ability to live a Soul-centered life?"

My good friend, most people identify heavily with their egos, or personalities, and not so much with the higher aspects of their Being, such as the Soul or God Self. This is the source of much confusion and suffering in their lives.

The ego is not you, and it has no independent life of its own. Instead, it is a false belief about you. The ego is a deeply rooted misunderstanding of who you are that originated long before you ever walked upon the Earth.
