Visiting the Medieval City of Sighisoara, Transylvania

If you've been with Joy and Clarity for a while, you already know that we love to take photographs. But, if you are new with us, let us just repeat this... We love to take pictures! Sometimes we like to share pictures from around the house, or from the city we live in, and other times we post pictures of the places that we visit.

This October, we went to a medieval town in Transylvania, Romania, which has been preserved from the Middle Ages up until modern times; and it still has people inhabiting it.

We are talking about the city of Sighisoara. (Slide show below.)

Sighisoara is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is considered to be a very attractive place to visit.

We - Dan and Alex - took a short break to visit this place as a three-day, "mini-vacation". It was great to get out and about, and discover an "old" but new world to us. It was also exciting to meet new people. We also had the most wonderful weather as we were there, and it was so very enjoyable to walk around in the warm sun.

We would like to share this historic and beautiful place that we visited, so we have prepared this slide show for you to view.

Your comments are welcome, if you would like to share your thoughts with us.

Lots of love,
Alex and Dan
